Product Introduction

Water-ring pumps are widely used in chemical and pharmaceutical processing. In standard service the working liquid is discharged directly; where the pumped medium contains organic solvents, toxic or hazardous components, a water-ring closed-loop circulation system is preferred.


Working Principle

The DVBL Roots–liquid-ring system uses Roots vacuum pumps as the main and intermediate stages with a liquid-ring pump as the backing stage — sometimes with an additional atmospheric ejector. Compared with a single liquid-ring pump it delivers higher pumping speed and deeper vacuum.

1. Why choose a Roots–screw vacuum system?

It provides high pumping speed, deep vacuum and oil-free operation. It is ideal for chemical, pharmaceutical, electronics and lithium-battery drying processes.

2. Can it handle corrosive gases and solvents?

Yes. Optional corrosion-resistant materials and coatings are available. Condensers, filters and cleaning systems can also be added for corrosive gases and solvent vapours.

3. Can the system recover solvents?

Yes. The oil-free gas path avoids pump-oil contamination, making solvent condensation and recovery easier. A pre-condenser or exhaust recovery unit can be installed when required.

4. How is the correct system selected?

Selection depends on the working vacuum, pumping capacity, gas composition, vapour load and operating temperature. We can configure the Roots stages, screw pump, motor power and PLC control system accordingly.
