Product Introduction

The DVL series liquid ring vacuum pump is suitable for pumping gases and water vapor, achieving an ultimate suction vacuum

of 33 mbar absolute pressure (97% vacuum degree).

Working Principle

  • • Eccentric Rotor Design: The impeller is installed eccentrically within the pump casing relative to the rotor axis.
  • • Liquid Ring Formation: Upon startup, centrifugal force energizes the liquid to form a concentric liquid ring, receiving power directly from the impeller.
  • • Cyclic Gas Compression: The liquid ring and impeller blades form multiple working chambers with periodically changing volumes, drawing gas in through the suction port and discharging it after compression.
  • • Continuous Liquid Supply: A continuous supply of working liquid (usually water) is required to maintain the liquid ring and dissipate the significant heat generated during gas compression.

Design Features

Direct-Drive Motor: Saves space and allows for easy installation and maintenance.

Standard Mechanical Seals: Equipped with mechanical seals as standard configuration for reliable sealing.

Cavitation Protection: Features a cavitation protection port to eliminate cavitation noise and protect the pump while maximizing suction performance.

Flexible Exhaust Port: The unique PTFE design prevents over-compression, ensures peak efficiency, and significantly extends service life in tough conditions.
